A: As Abhilasha has been an integral part of Bollywood, her make up style varies from a Natural Day Look to an Evening Glamour Look. She specializes in Bridal make up for every ethnicity and is comfortable in making any skin look Natural and glowing at the same time.

PERSONAL GROOMING: This is a special one on one basis session, for anyone. Primarily for Brides to be and Corporates.

MALE GROOMING - Grooming (hair styling and making the skin even tone) for the wedding day is also available for men. Why only women have the right to look good ?

A: Airbrush Makeup is a lightweight method of makeup application where specially formulated, water-resistant makeup is sprayed out using an airbrush gun. It creates a beautiful, even finish and can last 12-15 hours. It is perfectly blended to match your skin tone and has a very natural look. Airbrush makeup will last throughout your special day (and even after your moves on the dance floor). The only difference is that with hand applied make up there's an array of Branded products can be used as per your skin type.

A: Abhilasha prefers designing looks that are all different from each and every function in sync with what the Bride and her family are comfortable with (Extremely important). Hair Accessories, Clothes, Jewelry, Bindi everything is discussed. If there is a bridal party of more than two or three people, each look is discussed of everyone. Ideally the Main consultation is done three months prior to the wedding date and workout regimes, diets everything is discussed. In-person trial is provided at studio for full face and hair and is charged separately. Abhilasha also travels to your location for trials and is charged at a full service price.

A: Professionally applied makeup will last the duration of your wedding day with proper care. Quality products are always used and steps are taken to ensure your makeup lasts. Abhilasha's exclusive brides are provided with a touch-up kit consisting of blotting paper, powder puff and a lipstick touch-up. Also please avoid makeup transfer by avoiding contact with your face throughout your day (ie hugging relatives cheek to cheek, if you cry - pat your tears with a paper towel, do not wipe your face, etc). Most of the products we use are water resistant in nature. We do suggest once your makeup is complete that you eat with a fork and knife and drink with a straw to ensure your makeup last.

A: Weddings are a celebratory events and food and beverages are a major part of any celebrations. But for a Bride to look her best she has to follow a few steps to avoid being asleep on the wedding day:

• Abhilasha's exclusive brides are requested to follow a customized skin & hair care routine. Desgined by Abhilasha (a Licensed Cosmetologist) herself for each bride.

• Drink 8 glasses of water a day to avoid water retention get at least 30 mins of exercise a day - this will reduce stress and improve your general sense of well being.
• Get as much sleep as possible the night before your event, this will visibly improve your skin tone and your sense of well being.
• If your hair is dry, get a deep conditioning hair treatment 7 days before your events (if any closer to the date it may in fact weigh your hair down).
• Have any facials or skin treatments at least 7 days before your event to avoid any residual skin trauma or redness.
• Have all hair cuts and hair color treatments 30 days before your event - if it doesn't turn out exactly as planned, there is time to correct it.
• If your hair is oily, purchase Aveda Rosemary Mint Purifying Shampoo to clear the hair of buildup 7 days before your event.

A: Abhilasha works on the bride herself for make up and Hair, sometimes an assistant will help her prepping the hair. Hence ideally she needs 3 hours for every look to finish Hair, Makeup and Draping. Early morning weddings have to be calculated accordingly.

THE DAY Preperations:

• Have a light and healthy breakfast before our arrival - which is typically:
  • 5am for Sikh Weddings.
  • 2am-3am for South Indian Weddings.
  • or the mahurat (​a time to begin a project, hold a ceremony, etc. that is likely to bring success)
• Have your hair blown out straight (must be washed the night before and no conditioner), no residue of any hair products left in the hair.
• Have an area set up with good lighting/Natural lighting and a table.
• Have a table set up beside you near an electrical outlet to plug in for our hair tools.
• Please try all of your jewelry on prior to purchase and again before your wedding day to make sure no repairs or additional work is required.
• Have all your jewelry and accessories laid out nearby for access after your hair and makeup is completed.
• We do not offer or sell any jewelery / hair accessories.

A: Initial payments for reserving a date are non-refundable. In case of COVID-19 related crisis initial payment amount may be offered as credit for 1 year for future services.

A: 30 miles from 712 Bancroft Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94598 are complimentary. $2/Mile after that.

A: Yes. The wedding party provides the stay and travel and per day is charged for services. Details can be discussed.
